NEW YORK, October 21, 2026: Yorkseed, the curated global venture network for founders and investors, today congratulated its community partner ARC on ARC Night Singapore, which ARC billed as Singapore's first full-sized humanoid fight night. The event took place on October 7, 2026 at *SCAPE during TOKEN2049 and Formula 1 race week. It drew more than 380 attendees, and ARC reports more than 5 million views across its channels within 24 hours.
Yorkseed served as a community partner for ARC Night Singapore, following its community partnership on ARC's first events in New York during NY Tech Week 2026.
ARC, short for Avatar Robotic Competition, pairs human pilots with humanoid avatars. Each pilot wears a full-body motion capture suit, and the robot mirrors their movements in real time through the control platform built by Katena. The bouts are piloted live by people, not run autonomously.
In Singapore, two teams, Iron Fang and Steel Shadow, each fielded a lightweight Unitree G1 (about 35 kg) and a heavyweight EngineAI T800 (1.73 m, 75 kg), which made its Singapore debut. The pilots were professional combat athletes from Muay Thai, MMA, boxing and kung fu, including Muay Thai champion Sham Raaj, humanoid combat athlete Eugene Chung, and Singapore-based MMA fighter and ONE Championship judge Lukas Leasure. Audiences followed a live health-point display and a split screen showing each pilot beside their avatar. The program also featured a group humanoid dance, a dance battle and a kung fu demonstration.
The event drew coverage across Asia. ARC's announcement was carried by outlets including TechNode Global, Taiwan News, The Manila Times and The Malaysian Reserve, with independent coverage from Humanoids Daily and Little Big Red Dot.
In ARC's announcement, founder Antonio Gai said:
"We chose Singapore to make that case first because it is a city that takes the future seriously, in public."
ARC made its New York debut during NY Tech Week 2026, with Yorkseed as community partner:
Four months later, ARC brought adult-sized humanoids into fully mirrored real-time fights for the first time in Singapore. ARC has said more international showcases are planned, with Dubai and the Americas in planning.
"We were there for ARC's first nights in New York during Tech Week, and watching them fill a theatre in Singapore four months later has been remarkable. Physical AI is moving out of the lab and into public view, and ARC is one of the clearest examples of that. This is exactly the kind of team our community partner program exists to support."
