NEW YORK — July 18, 2026 — Yorkseed today announced that Yorkseed House will return to New York for NY Tech Week 2027, marking the series' second New York edition following its 2026 debut at BelongNYC in SoHo. A waitlist is now open ahead of full programming and venue details.
Yorkseed House's first New York edition ran June 1–6, 2026 at BelongNYC's SoHo location, co-hosted with BelongNYC, Flowstate, and Elevate, offering full-week drop-in access for $10 during NY Tech Week and Latino Tech Week. Framed as "the place between the rooms," the run gave founders, investors, and operators a consistent home base to return to across the week rather than a single scheduled event — a format Yorkseed said drew steady traffic across all six days, with no signs of the drop-off that typically follows a Tech Week opening night.
New York carries particular weight for Yorkseed: the network itself was founded in the city in 2023, and NY Tech Week remains one of its highest-density weeks on the calendar, alongside its Fintech & AI Pitch Forum, Venture Salon, and closing Yacht Party programming. The 2027 edition returns Yorkseed House to that home turf for a second time, following the same drop-in format that defined the 2026 run.
"New York is home base — it's where Yorkseed started, and NY Tech Week is the one week a year the entire network is in the same city at once. Coming back for 2027 isn't really a decision, it's a standing appointment."
Conversations with BelongNYC, Flowstate, and Elevate about returning as co-hosts are underway, though final venue and partner confirmations have not been locked in. Yorkseed said it expects to keep the core format intact — full-week, low-cost, drop-in access rather than a single ticketed event — while using the additional lead time to expand daily programming beyond the informal structure of the 2026 run.
The announcement follows Yorkseed House's confirmed return to Austin for SXSW 2027, giving the series two confirmed 2027 editions on the calendar alongside its debut Lisbon stop planned for Web Summit in November 2026. Taken together, the 2027 calendar marks the first year Yorkseed House will have returned to more than one of its founding cities.
